The book consists of 30 tried and tested practical activities, using concrete and familiar objects in imaginative ways, from using dice and paper cups to playing cards and Hula hoops.

The activities are clearly described and easy to follow and supported by children in action.

The 112 page book consists of colour-coded sections which demarcate grade levels with 37 pages of templates to be used in the activities. Relevant pages from the CAPS curriculum are included for ease of reference at the back.
