A set of 94 (A5-sized) colourful Indigenous Plant and Animal cards (32 plants and 62 animals) which feature: the plants and animals in their habitat; other relevant information; all the known names in the different languages of South Africa.

The back of each card has the story of each plant and animal, its biology, uses and beliefs, written in accessible language.

These cards have been successfully used in Foundation, Intermediate and Senior Phases.

The Teachers’ Guide deals with many ways in which these Indigenous Plant and Animal cards can be used with learners. It includes a glossary in three languages: English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans.
