This book suggests ways in which to use three readily available resources, for teachers to get their Foundation Phase learners using language in a meaningful and purposeful way.
The Whole Language Approach means learners are required to think, listen, speak, write and read when they carry out an activity. Teachers consciously integrate all aspects of language with each other.
This book focuses on using the following resources for whole language activities in the Foundation Phase:
