School Registration Form
Back to Innovation projectAs from January 2012, the PSP has introduced an annual School Registration Fee of R1,000 as a once-off contribution for the year towards all the teacher training courses run in the afternoons at the PSP on Natural Sciences & Technology, Mathematics & Numeracy, Language & Literacy, as well as Environment and Social Sciences.
This new requirement was discussed with many teachers, SMTs and School Principals who attended the PSP Annual Mass Planning Forum in October 2011.
It was agreed that the PSP should request schools to register and pay their R1,000 by the end of January each year, as well as send a staff list to the PSP with their annual registration.
Please remember:
- Schools should check the Programme of PSP Courses for each term (newsletter, faxed or on the PSP website).
- Schools can include the PSP courses in their SIPS plan for Teacher Development.
- Schools need to book their teachers’ places for the courses in advance.
- Courses will run from 3 – 5pm.
- The same teacher must attend all sessions of a course.
- Certificates are issued on 100% attendance. (Attendance registers are withdrawn at 3:30pm.)
- PSP courses will be registered with SACE for CPTD points as soon as possible.
If a teacher arrives to attend a PSP course and his/her school has not registered, he/she will have to pay R30 for the course.
- Fill in the attached Registration Form and fax or post it back to us.
- Pay the registration fee of R1,000 into PSP’s bank account.
- Email or fax us your school’s staff list.
