Between 2005 and 2009, the PSP ran the official courses for Natural Sciences with 50 – 60 Intermediate Phase teachers from across the province each year - through the WCED tender process.

These three and four-week full-time training courses were run at the Cape Teaching and Leadership Institute (CTLI) and teachers were substituted at their schools.

During 2008, we were also contracted to run a one week ‘follow up’ course in the holidays for 60 teachers who had attended the PSP CTLI courses during the previous three years.

The WCED Head Office and Districts have continued to contract the PSP to run various training courses with teachers, as well as Curriculum Advisers since 2009.
