100% of PSP's teachers are black South Africans and 100% of contributions to PSP therefore qualify towards your socio-economic development points on your Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) scorecard.

 
Tax Benefits for South African Donors

The Western Cape Primary Science Programme  is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO No 930005342), therefore donations to Western Cape Primary Science Programme by South African individuals and corporates are tax-deductible up to 5% of their total income. Additionally, because of our Public Benefit Organisation status, the normal donations tax ceiling of R30,000 does not apply. The PSP will issue Section 18A certificates to all donors, as these certificates are required when completing tax return forms.
