NOTE: Tax Benefits for South African Donors
The Western Cape Primary Science Programme is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO No. 930 005 342), therefore donations to the PSP by South African individuals and corporates are tax-deductible up to 5% of their total income.
Additionally, because of our Public Benefit Organisation status, the normal donations tax ceiling of R30,000 does not apply. The PSP will issue Section 18A certificates to all donors, as these certificates are required when completing tax return forms.
