Nadiema Gamieldien has a strong teaching background. She spent many years teaching in the Intermediate Phase at Imperial Primary in Mitchell’s Plain, honing her skills before joining SAILI, a Mathematics, Natural Science and Language NGO.

During the five years with SAILI, Nadiema was afforded the opportunity to complete the Advanced Certificate in Education in Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Technology. The knowledge and skills acquired through the programme became valuable in her work at SAILI helping her to support many teachers across the Western Cape.

She later joined the PSP and continued with her quest to provide the best assistance for teachers.

Nadiema is described by her colleagues as a real live wire who has endless amounts of energy. Driven by her passion for and commitment to education, she uses her incredible energy and her creativity to improve teaching and learning of the Natural Sciences through many of PSP’s projects. Recently Nadiema has become involved in the Foundation Phase as well.
